I deserved every second of the time they gave to me! In fact, the “habitual offender” paragraphs and a life sentence were hanging in the balance, and to be completely honest, I deserved it! I was guilty! Yet the blood of Jesus covered my sins, He washed me clean. He reached out, took my heart and hand, and offered me more than I could have ever dreamed of. I had wasted every chance, career opportunity, been a horrible father, son, member of the neighborhood, a thief, a cheater, a liar, and a drug addict.
Yet, Jesus saw something in me that no one else did…not even myself. As I started serving and trusting God to lead me in a life that honors Him and examples the love of Christ; things began to change. He has reconciled my relationship with my children, my pawpaw, and today has turned my mess into a message! A message that points to His glory, and that shows that once in His hands, He can mold and shape and bring about the expected and desired end…the way He designed it to be! He has given so much for you and for me – and we get to share that with every person on the planet! What a privilege to serve Jesus!!
