Online Offender Search is conducted through the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.

Only offenders who are currently incarcerated in a TDCJ facility are included in the online search.

The minimum input required for a successful search is either of the following:

• the last name AND the first initial of the first name, or
• the TDCJ number, or
• the SID (state identification) number.

If you provide names, the system searches for an exact match of the last name you provide. You may use the * as a wild card for any letters of the first name except the first letter.
